Description
This 22W IC-rated new construction housing is built for direct contact with insulation and is suitable for both IC and non-IC applications. Designed for versatility, it features a double-wall airtight housing with a factory-installed gasket to meet ASTM E-283 standards and prevent unwanted airflow.
The galvanized steel junction box comes pre-wired with (7) 1/2″ knockouts and (4) Romex® knockouts with removable plates for flexible wiring. Pre-installed hanger bars include True Nail® features for secure mounting to standard or engineered lumber, laminated beams, or T-grid ceilings. The adjustable housing accommodates up to 1.5″ ceiling thickness and spans up to 24″ with tool-free size reduction and 90° rotation.
